About Us- What is NHPOA?

New Hampshire Property Owners is a non-profit real estate investor group made up of rental property owners, managers and others with similar business affiliations. We educate and assist landlords and managers to help them run their business more efficiently

In the mid 1980?s landlords dealing with municipal mandates, and a multitude of tenant and property issues, knew they needed each other. The NHPOA was established originally as somewhat of a 'coffee clutch' group that gained momentum. Longtime member Rick Blais, is one of those originals. Gene Gayda, Nashua President and volunteer, brought the group to a statewide level. In addition Gene became our first legislative representative in Concord. Gene serviced our organization on a volunteer basis for many years and set the stage for where we are today!

The NHPOA has established a well respected name at the State House. Today a legislative team of volunteers continue this work on behalf of landlords throughout the state. Our legislative work helps to preserve your asset by keeping tabs on issues that affect landlords and their business interests.

The educational mission of the group is achieved via monthly newsletter to all members. It contains articles of interest, legislative updates and a variety of topics all pertinent to our business. Monthly chapter meetings and workshops serve to enhance our educational component. Our web site is evolving as a 'hub' of activity for our members who can post questions and share ideas.

We want our mission to continue its success even as political climates are constantly changing! We need the support of ALL LANDLORDS throughout the state.
